Virals: Jude Bellingham causes Twitter stir in response to strong links

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham created pandemonium on Twitter amongst Kopites by responding to the strongest link to a move yet.

This comes as it was claimed by former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Craig Hignett that the 18-year-old was ‘Liverpool bound’ in the future.

Bellingham – or perhaps his social media team – took to social media with a gif of himself laughing in response to a Tweet highlighting the links.

The teenage sensation had previously been linked with a switch to the Reds and actions such as this will only further intensify the speculation.

Meanwhile, somewhat bereft of existing midfield options, Jurgen Klopp will have been delighted to see Fabinho and Thiago seemingly make successful returns to training ahead of important matches with Atletico Madrid and West Ham this week.

Both were sorely missed in the 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield over the weekend and Klopp will hope to regain some poise with their presence.

Oh, Jude.

Liverpool fans are rightfully excited by the prospect of signing the eight-cap England international.

Way ahead of his years in terms of development and presence at the very top table, Bellingham would be a transformational capture for the Reds with many years of top-class service almost a guarantee.

Back in the present, the return of either Thiago or Fabinho to the side will give Klopp much-needed midfield options ahead of yet another international break.
