Liverpool are reportedly ‘preparing’ to make Mohamed Salah the top earner at the club with a new bumper contract.
The 29-year-old currently has 20 months remaining on a deal at Anfield and speculation has been mounting over the ongoing stalemate.
Now, according to a report from Football Insider, as cited by Liverpool FC News on Twitter, the club could be set to break the impasse with an £82million package including a £350,000-a-week salary.
The report claims that the 71-cap Egypt superstar ‘wants a deal’ until this summer 2026 when the winger will have been on Merseyside for nine years.
So far this season Salah has scored nine times in nine appearances across all competitions – earning a remarkable 7.71 average Sofascore rating from seven Premier League outings in the process.
