Valued at £18million and under contract until 2024 (Transfermarkt), the Danish ace would represent an affordable outlay for Liverpool in this window.
Wholly impressive on the biggest stage during the European Championships – including a stunning free-kick goal against England in the semi-final – Damsgaard boasts incredible versatility that would lend itself to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Capable of operating in midfield and in advanced positions, the Dane could be viewed as a replacement for both Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri.
