Reported Liverpool target Sander Berge could be available for a major cut-price fee this summer.
Credited with interest earlier this year, the Reds have tentatively been linked with the Sheffield United central midfielder on multiple occasions.
The 24 year old Norwegian missed a majority of the 2020/21 campaign after undergoing surgery to a hamstring tendon injury.
Previously touted as demanding a fee in the region of £35millon for their star, recent relegation from the Premier League may have altered the parameters.
Now, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness on Twitter, the Blades are believed to be asking €12million (£10.3million) to do business.

Albeit the report makes no mention of a renewed interest from the Reds, instead focussing on the pursuit from Napoli, at the mooted asking price there could well be a change in stance.
Berge only managed 16 appearances in all competitions last term – earning an average Sofascore rating of 7.2 in a goalscoring display in defeat at Anfield.

Valued at £16.2million and under contract until 2024 at Bramall Lane (Transfermarkt), ability-wise the Norway ace would be a bargain at the proposed fee.
Capable of playing both as a box to box central midfielder and defensive midfielder, the 24-cap international would be a positional replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.
Were assurances in place over the recent injury and future issues, Jurgen Klopp could land a player he admires for an incredible price – thus allowing strengthening to continue elsewhere.
