Wolves are reportedly leading the race to sign Liverpool winger Rafael Camacho this summer.

According to Football Insider, Nuno Espirito Santo is hoping to add the teenager to his growing Portuguese ranks at Molineux.

The report claims that Wolves are beating the likes of German sides RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon for the wantaway winger.

The 19-year-old was close to joining Sporting Lisbon back in January, however, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp blocked a possible move at the final stage to keep the player at Anfield.

Camacho, who was born in Lisbon, joined Liverpool back in 2016 and has made just one first-team appearance, despite being labelled as a future star.

That appearance came against Wolves earlier this year in the FA Cup, with the Reds losing 2-1 at Molineux in January, and it looks as if the winger could be plying his trade in the Midlands next season.
