Spurs will be without captain Hugo Lloris and midfielder Dele Alli for Saturday’s lunchtime clash with Liverpool.
Lloris was absent from Spurs’ last Premier League outing, a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Watford, with backup shot-stopper Michel Vorm starting in his place.
Alli started against the Hornets, and played the full 90 minutes in the loss.
The 22-year-old played another full ninety minutes for England against Spain at the weekend, but will be unavailable for the visit of Liverpool to Wembley Stadium.
Lloris did not feature in either of France’s contests in the international break.
Liverpool will still have to contend with Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, the newly returned Son Heung-Min, and Premier League Player of the Month Lucas Moura.
