Harry Kane has had an incredibly busy 18 months. Making 48 appearances for Spurs last season, the striker jetted straight off to Russia to captain England in their World Cup campaign that ended at the semi-final stage. Back into action with his club again, and many have suggested the 25-year-old is in need of a break.
Taking just two weeks of holiday between England and Spurs duty after the World Cup, Kane was typically eager to jump back into his club role as soon as he possibly could.

Kane has appeared in all four of Spurs’ Premier League games thus far, scoring twice. He also played a full 90 minutes against Spain for England in the UEFA Nations League, and the final 29 minutes of a friendly with Switzerland.
With the debate about whether or not the forward needs a break continuing, Reds boss Jürgen Klopp has offered his thoughts ahead of his side’s trip to play Spurs on Saturday.
The German, quoted by Football London, said:
We all knew it after the World Cup, especially when England went so far in the tournament, they had no rest, Harry played from the first match, he had two weeks holiday maybe, that’s nothing, he’s a physical worker, uses his body all the time and we all need rest.
He cannot get that rest match wise, but he will find his form and maybe at the weekend. He has already delivered, it’s not that he’s not in good shape, it’s only that Harry is the highest level striker that people think ‘hmm is that the Harry Kane from last season?’
We are all not yet the people we were from last season, we bring together all these players and build a team. You need time for that, but you’re tested every few days.
