Liverpool target Bergwijn will reportedly cost €20m
PSV Eindhoven have reportedly put a €20 million price tag on Steven Bergwijn’s head, with Liverpool and Manchester United linked with a move for the player.
The Reds were reported to have expressed an interest in signing Bergwijn earlier on in the month and according to fresh claims from De Telegraaf, as cited by Calciomercato, United have also joined the race for his signature.
Bergwijn has advanced through the youth ranks at PSV to establish himself as a key player for the first-team in recent seasons, catching the eye of top clubs in the process.
However, it seems potential suitors will not need to spend copious amounts to secure his services. It’s claimed in the report that PSV are willing to listen to offers worth €20m for their star winger.
The Premier League giants are not the only clubs in the race to land Bergwijn, though. It’s reported that Serie A side Inter Milan are also keen on the 21-year-old.
Bergwijn has scored four goals and chipped in with four assists from eight Eredivisie appearances this season.
