Real Betis will make a move for Liverpool’s Xherdan Shaqiri if the Reds continue their interest in Athletic Bilbao’s Iker Muniain.
According to a report by the Metro, via Gol Digital, Liverpool have put themselves in the mix to sign Muniain, with talks between the winger and Athletic still continuing.
Bilbao have a history of not negotiating deals, and will simply sell a player if a club meets their transfer clause.

However, reports suggest that if Liverpool are to make a move for the winger, Spanish side Real Betis will launch a move to sign Xherdan Shaqiri, who would more than likely be pushed aside to make room for Muniain.
Shaqiri only joined Liverpool in the Summer, moving from relegated Stoke City.
The Swiss midfielder has impressed during several substitute and starting roles during his time at the Reds, and it would be a shock to see him move away from Anfield so quickly.
However, if Liverpool are serious about a move for Muniain, Shaqiri would possibly have to move aside and may see himself making a move to Betis.
