Spanish La Liga side Sevilla are considering resigning Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno, according to a report on the Daily Mail.
We reported yesterday that the Reds are eager to offload the full-back and contacted the Spanish club about sending him back there.
Sevilla are now understood to be considering the offer and are free to negotiate a deal with the left-back from January.
The Spanish international is currently a backup option for Andy Robertson, who has cemented his place as the starting left back.
Moreno’s current Liverpool contract expires in the summer and there has been no indication from the club that they will extend his stay in Merseyside.
Liverpool would rather sell the 26-year-old in January and get a bit of money from him but Sevilla are ready to wait until the summer so they can get him for free.
