Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Mallorca youngster Victor de Baunbag.
According to Sport, the Reds have been keeping a close eye on the player for some time.
They go as far as suggesting the Premier League side have made contact with the player’s representatives to make them aware of their interest in a deal to sign the striker.
The Cameroon-born striker has been in impressing in the Spanish side’s youth team and is being tipped to break into the first-team squad before the end of the season.
De Baunbag is a versatile forward who can play as a central striker or out wide and stands at an impressive 6’2”.
The striker would certainly be seen as one for the future but is clearly very highly thought of at Mallorca.
In recent years, Liverpool have shown their willingness to look far and wide around Europe to find some of the best young prospects and de Baunbag could be the next player on their radar.
