Liverpool are said to be considering a move to recall Ben Woodburn during the January window.
According to a report from Goal, the Reds could bring the winger back to Anfield with the Welshman struggling to break through at Sheffield United.
Woodburn joined Chris Wilder’s side in the summer with much promise, but he has failed to make an impact during the first half of the campaign.

The winger has already been back at Liverpool this season, featuring in academy games in order to get some minutes under his belt.
The report claims that Liverpool do hold the option to bring the Welshman back in the new year, but at the same time, they are also not concerned about the player’s situation at the Championship side.
Woodburn could well return in January and be shipped out on loan elsewhere to find regular game time during the second half of the campaign with a place in the first-team squad at Anfield looking unlikely.
