Neymar hobbled off in Brazil’s international friendly against Cameroon on Tuesday night, leaving Paris Saint-Germain to sweat over their star man’s fitness ahead of the upcoming Champions League clash with Liverpool.

The winger lined up for his country at the Stadium MK but was dealt a blow as he was forced off after just eight minutes.

PSG will be desperately hoping that the former Barcelona man’s injury is not a serious one, with Thomas Tuchel’s side gearing up for a crucial Champions League group stage fixture against Liverpool next Wednesday.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will be closely monitoring the Brazilian’s condition following his departure from his country’s clash with Cameroon as they bid to push on in the Champions League.
