PSG have offered an update on the situations of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar ahead of their Champions League clash with Liverpool.
According to The Evening Standard, the Ligue 1 club have offered a statement claiming that the pair will undergo treatment over the next two days before any further updates.
Neymar is a doubt with a right abductor strain, whilst Mbappe could miss the clash with Liverpool after suffering a shoulder injury whilst playing for France.
Mbappe scored in the reverse fixture against Liverpool, which Jurgen Klopp’s men won courtesy of a last-minute goal from Roberto Firmino.
The French forward, Mbappe, has scored 11 goals in seven Ligue 1 appearances this season and is one of the favourites to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Liverpool will be hoping Mbappe and Neymar are missing as they look to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
