Trent Alexander-Arnold aiming to become a ‘one-club’ player

Trent Alexander-Arnold may only recently have broken through at Liverpool, but he already has his eyes on becoming a ‘one-club’ player.

Speaking to Sky Sports about what his future could potentially hold, the England international has confirmed that the idea of a move away from Anfield has little interest to him.

To play for Liverpool is the dream, the aim, and I can’t see it changing to be fair. As long as possible I want to have that relationship with Liverpool, to be a Liverpool player.

To say I have done that for the whole of my career is something I have dreamed of being able to say.

With the spending power available to clubs both in the Premier League and elsewhere, loyalty at clubs is very hard to come by in the modern game.

Players like former Roma and Italy legend Francesco Totti are becoming even rarer, with footballers increasingly aware of the fame and fortune that is on offer at the biggest clubs.

However, Alexander-Arnold, who speaks with a maturity beyond his years, clearly wants to break the trend and Reds supporters will be delighted with the news should the defender continue on the same trajectory that he has shown throughout his career so far.
