Liverpool eye £15m move for Brighton’s Pascal Gross

Liverpool are eyeing up a £15m move for Brighton’s Pascal Gross, according to a report from Alex Crook of The Mirror.

Gross only arrived at Brighton in the summer of 2017 for just £3million, but he has made an instant impact on the South coast and his seven goals and eight assists last season helped keep the Seagulls in the Premier League.

Liverpool manager Klopp is apparently keen to bring in one more attacking midfielder after a proposed deal for Nabil Fekir fell through and he’s apparently going to look at the so-called ‘lesser’ teams in the Premier League yet again.

The Reds have already brought in the likes of Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri from teams lower down the table than themselves, and each of those players have been a huge hit at Anfield, so perhaps it shouldn’t be a huge shock if does spend around £15m on Gross when the January window opens.
