Liverpool will have to pay €100m to sign Chiesa

Liverpool will have to splash out €100million to sign Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Reds have been linked with the Italian in recent times, although nothing concrete has emerged.

Chiesa is seen as one of Serie A’s brightest young attacking players, leading to interest from numerous clubs.

Juventus and Inter Milan are two of those reportedly monitoring Chiesa’s situation.

The 21-year-old has scored 12 goals in 31 appearances from out wide this season, outlining why Fiorentina value him so highly.

They are not willing to let him go without a fight this summer, and will demand a huge fee for his services.

Chiesa’s current Fiorentina deal runs until 2022, allowing them to play hardball with other clubs.

Jurgen Klopp is looking to add quality and depth in wide areas ahead of next season and Chiesa fits the bill.

A move to a fellow Serie A team feels more likely, though.
