Liverpool have made a £60m bid for Lille striker Victor Osimhen, according to a report from Italian journalist Diego De Lucas.
Before the Ligue 1 season was official halted, and then curtailed, due to the ongoing global events, the Nigerian star was in great form for Lille, having scored 18 goals in all competitions and it looks like that form has alerted the Reds to his ability.

This bid, if the report is accurate, comes as a shock as I believed that Timo Werner was the Reds’ top summer target.
Osimhen‘s record this season, before the curtailment, was very good though and it could be that Liverpool think, given Spurs’ interest, they must get him now or risk missing out all together.
There’s no reporting yet if Lille will accept offers for the forward, so it remains to be seen if he’ll be moving to England this summer.
