Emile Heskey urges Liverpool to sign both Pedro Neto and Adama Traore

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has urged the Reds to sign Wolves pair Pedro Neto and Adama Traore this summer.

Jurgen Klopp may be looking for attacking reinforcements at the end of the season, as he looks to bolster his squad.

Speaking to Rousing The Kop, Heskey said Liverpool should snap up both Wolves wingers:

Both of them. Traore and Neto. Both give you different options and both are exciting players. Very, very direct which suits the way that Liverpool play.

It would be a huge surprise if Liverpool brought in two attacking players this summer, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota all vying for places.

Out of the two, Neto would be the more exciting purchase, though, having scored five goals and registered four assists in the Premier League this season. His speed, balance and work ethic would make him an exciting rival to Salah, Mane and Jota out wide.

Traore has flattered to deceive far too often recently, however, not scoring a single league goal since December 2019, against Manchester City.

That suggests he isn’t good enough for a team of Liverpool’s stature, not possessing anywhere near the level of end product required to be a success story.
