Jamie Carragher set for hilarious forfeit if Liverpool lose to Manchester United

Liverpool are set to return to Premier League action with a trip to Manchester United on Sunday.

The Reds have struggled for form recently and the game is set to be a hotly contested one.

This has led to an interesting bet between Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and presenter Kate Abdo.

The pair featured on CBS Sports‘ coverage of the Europa League last night, with the fun in full flow.

Abdo decided to place a bet with Carragher over the Liverpool game, daring him to die his hair pink in the Reds lost…

I think I speak for most people when I’m not sure what Carragher has tried to pull on this one.

His reversed proposal is that if Liverpool win the game then he will die his hair pink instead of Abdo’s initial proposal.

That doesn’t make sense to me, surely he’d lose the bet if Liverpool didn’t win the game?

Alex Scott looked as confused us everyone watching – but there may be a reason as to why Carragher is flipping the switch.

I have a suspicious feeling that Carragher feels Liverpool will lose the game on Sunday therefore he is trying to wiggle his way out.

Either way it would be hilarious to see Carragher with pink hair, especially on the coverage of Monday Night Football the next day.

The game against United will be a real challenge given their recent form, but hopefully Liverpool will do the job.

matchday.
