However, there was one milestone reached by a former member of the club’s academy during the game.
Former academy midfielder Curtis Jones reached 50 games for the Reds last night at Carrow Road.

As you can see, Jones was delighted to reach the incredible mark for who he describes as his ‘boyhood club’.
Having grown up as a Liverpool fan and representing them at a number of levels, Jones is a great example.
His growth into the first team and progression under Jurgen Klopp sets a clear incentive for other academy youngsters.
Last night proved once again how important he is becoming in this Liverpool side and for Klopp.
The German has a habit of nurturing young talent, having brought Trent Alexander-Arnold into the mix a few years ago.
Both Jones and Alexander-Arnold have proven the talent that resides in the club’s academy and what we can expect.
Hopefully, we will see him continue to grow and become an integral part of the squad for years to come.
