Liverpool endured a rare off-day against West Ham on Sunday as the Reds tasted defeat for the first time in 2021/22.
Jurgen Klopp’s side struggled to deal with the Hammers from set-pieces and ultimately were left wanting at the London Stadium.
However, there was one moment of hope in an otherwise disappointing showing as Trent Alexander-Arnold fired the visitors level.
Shortly before half-time with Klopp’s men trailing, the 23-year-old struck a pinpoint free-kick to drag the Reds back into the contest.
Despite an apparent shaky defensive display across the board, Alexander-Arnold earned an 8.50 Sofascore rating in a performance that included one goal, one assist, one clearance and four interceptions.
So far this season the 14-cap England ace has provided seven assists in 12 appearances across all competitions.
