Virals: Liverpool move for Fabio Carvalho ‘agreed by all parties’

Liverpool reportedly remain confident of signing Fulham attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho this summer.

The Reds were beaten by the clock in their attempt to secure the 19-year-old in the January transfer window and will now have to wait until the end of the season.

Carvalho was due to return to Craven Cottage in order to continue playing an integral part in Marco Silva’s promotion push.

According to a report from the Daily Mail and the Anfield Press on Twitter, a move is still very much on the cards.

Out of contract at the end of the season, the six-cap England Under starlet looks almost certain to make the next step in a promising career regardless of Fulham’s status.

So far this season the Portugal-born ace – described as a ‘serious talent’ by Clinton Morisson – has scored seven times and provided four assists in 18 second-tier outings.

Following the despair and heartache of the last-minute bad news, it would appear that the writing remains on the wall for Carvalho to become a Red.

Albeit still an unproven entity at the highest level, the skilful youngster has been impressive in a notoriously difficult league this term.

Boasting an array of outstanding attributes, Jurgen Klopp would be slighted to integrate yet another talented teenager into the Anfield ranks.
