Bayern Munich have reportedly declared an interested in signing Raheem Sterling if the winger does decide to leave Liverpool, according to German media.
The England international has been back-page news over the last 24 hours with reports emerging that he is set to reject the chance to sign a new contract.
German newspaper BILD states that Pep Guardiola’s German champions have made contact with Sterling’s representatives over a switch.
Agent Pere Guardiola – Pep’s brother – has apparently been in touch with Sterling’s representatives to make them aware of Bayern’s interest in him.
If, as expected, Sterling declares his wish to leave Anfield in his meeting with Brendan Rodgers and Ian Ayre, selling to Bayern could work out favourably to Liverpool as they’d undoubtedly prefer for him not to move to another Premier League club.
