Bradley Barcola drops big hint that he wants Liverpool transfer

The cat is out of the bag, as various sources have confirmed that Bradley Barcola is Liverpool’s primary target this summer transfer window.

The French international has been one of the most lethal attackers in world football over the past two seasons, showing his class for PSG as well as the national team.

Liverpool are in talks to sign Barcola but are no closer to agreeing a deal.

In the meantime, though, the 24-year-old’s social media activity has generated a lot of chatter.

Barcola likes Szoboszlai’s Liverpool contract extension post

Now, we’re not childish enough to suggest that a simple social media ‘like’ could mean a transfer is on the cards.

We wish it were that simple. However, Barcola’s activity on Instagram is interesting, to say the least.

Recently, Dominik Szoboszlai put pen to paper on a long-term contract at Liverpool, which came as a massive boost for everyone associated with the club.

And the Hungarian captain took to Instagram to celebrate his latest milestone as a lot of his teammates – past and present – wished him well in the comments.

Interestingly, Barcola, who doesn’t even follow Szoboszlai on Instagram, has liked the picture, as seen above in the post.

As we mentioned earlier, this doesn’t really mean a transfer is surely happening. But footballers know exactly what they’re doing, and a cheeky like from Barcola when links with Liverpool are intensifying could well be a hint.

Liverpool remain locked in talks to get the deal over the line, so let’s just hope the saga concludes soon, one way or another.
