Liverpool are still in the market for reinforcements as Andoni Iraola aims to add quality players to his squad.
The Reds have signed just three players this summer, with Ronald Araujo joining the club on loan after deals for Jeremy Jacquet and Victor Munoz were completed earlier.
Iraola’s backline currently has a lot of problems, although Araujo’s addition is set to ease the burden a little bit.
Earlier this summer, Liverpool were linked with a move for Fikayo Tomori, who has been a key player for AC Milan in recent seasons.
And now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the England international has been transfer-listed by the Serie A giants.
Liverpool target Fikayo Tomori transfer listed
The Italian wrote on X: “Fikayo Tomori has been included in AC Milan’s exit list today; he’s available on the market.
“Decision made following talks between Ruben Amorim and chairman Gerry Cardinale.
“After Fikayo Tomori and Youssouf Fofana, also Christopher Nkunku has been included among players available for sale by AC Milan.
“He’s been informed today by Rúben Amorim, as Sky Sport reported.
Tomori is an experienced defender and could be signed for a bargain fee this summer as AC Milan are desperate to offload him.
However, at this stage, we’re not sure if he’s an active target for the Reds as they’ve already signed Araujo, which should complete their defensive recruitment drive this summer.
