Liverpool delivered another fine performance in their hunt for Champions League football next season.
The Reds ran out 3-0 winners against Burnley last night to take them up to fourth in the table.
It has been a difficult season for the club given the setbacks they have had to face.
The biggest of those likely being the injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez early on into the season.
This was then followed by an injury to the clubs only other fit senior centre-back in Joel Matip.
If the club were to secure a top four spot it would be a massive achievement for Jurgen Klopp and his squad.
Even BBC pundit Ian Wright feels that it would be harsh for Liverpool to lose out on top four on the last day.
Speaking to Premier League productions, as cited by HITC via Daily Mirror, Wright said he feels sorry for the season Liverpool have had.
“For them to have a demise, not even get into Champions League for everything they have done the last couple of years then I think it will be very harsh on them.”

It is hard to disagree with Wright, it would be mightily unfair for the Reds to miss out on Champions League.
Given all that Liverpool have achieved over the last few seasons both domestically and in Europe, they deserve it.
The reality, however, is that there is a possibility that Liverpool could still miss out.
With the final game week this weekend, Liverpool will face off against Crystal Palace at Anfield.
The main worry is Leicester City who are level on points but have a tougher test ahead against Tottenham.
It will be a huge weekend of football and the Liverpool faithful will be hoping things go there way.
As Wright says though, Liverpool missing out would be very harsh given what they have achieved.
