With all the fuss surrounding Raheem Sterling and his contract situation, Liverpool will be delighted to have some positive news to share after Jordon Ibe signed a new deal with the club.
The new deal is reportedly worth £35,000 a week and will keep the 19-year-old at Anfield until 2020.
According to a report by Chris Bascombe in The Telegraph, Liverpool had only been in discussions with Ibe for a few weeks before bringing negotiations to a swift conclusion.
Reaching an agreement with the player has been a pretty easy process as Ibe is represented by his stepfather, not an agent.
Ibe has made 11 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season after being recalled from his loan spell at Derby County.
