Liverpool have grown to become one of the powerhouses of European football over the last few seasons.
The Reds have won the Champions League and Premier League over the last two seasons.
As well as this, they have managed UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup victory in between.
This leads to plenty of players being linked with a move for the Reds as well as some hoping for one themselves.
The latest player comes in the form of Croatian international Josko Gvardiol, who has revealed his desire to play for Liverpool one day…
The news, as cited by Anfield Watch on Twitter, is an interesting one.
Gvardiol impressed last season for Dinamo Zagreb, covering both left-back and centre-back at times.
His performances caught the eye of German side RB Leipzig who signed the defender for just under £17million.
Gvardiol is set to join Leipzig on the 1st July, likely as a replacement for Ibrahima Konaté who the Reds recently signed.
As strange as it may sound, Konaté’s replacement has now revealed that he wishes to play for the Reds one day.
Speaking to 24hrSata, Gvardiol opened up on being a Liverpool fan as a kid and watching the games with his father.
The 19-year-old looks a fine talent and has plenty of potential to thrive at Leipzig and in the Bundesliga.
It will be interesting to see how his career blossoms over the next few seasons, and even more interesting to see if he may join the Reds in the future.
