Klopp admits a loan move is likely for Harvey Elliott

Jurgen Klopp has suggested that new Liverpool signing Harvey Elliott could be back out of the door this summer.

Speaking after Liverpool’s pre-season game against Napoli, as reported by the Daily Mail, Klopp admitted that the winger needs game time going forward and may be forced to leave on loan.

Elliott rejected a new deal at Fulham and as a highly-rated youngster, he was attracting a wealth of interest across the continent.

At the age of just 16, Elliot is the youngest player to ever make a Premier League appearance after breaking into the first-team squad last season at Craven Cottage.

He could stay at the club and work within the academy structure, however after getting his first taste of senior football, he may be tempted by a move away if regular game time is on offer.

Liverpool will no doubt be looking to manage him carefully over the coming years due to his tender age.
