Liverpool clear biggest hurdle in Bradley Barcola talks with PSG

Stay with us as this might be the biggest Bradley Barcola update we’ve written in all these days.

Liverpool have been locked in talks to sign the French international from PSG for almost a month now but have been unable to agree a fee.

There were even suggestions earlier this week that they could walk away from the deal, which would have been a massive blow as they’ve wanted Barcola for a long time now.

And now, reports from France confirm that the Reds are willing to bite the bullet and pay PSG’s asking price.

Liverpool willing to pay €140m for Bradley Barcola

There have been contrasting reports about Liverpool’s unofficial offers so far, but they’ve all been in the €100-110m range.

PSG didn’t budge at that price and made it very clear to the Reds that they are holding out for nearly €145m to part with the two-time UEFA Champions League winner.

And now, Le Parisien, which is a local newspaper that covers all the news related to PSG, confirms that Liverpool are willing to pay €140m, including bonuses, for Barcola.

Surely this is as close as they’ve got to meeting PSG’s demands, and with the player keen on the move, it looks like it will get done in the coming week.

Is it too soon to start watching Bradley Barcola compilations on YouTube?
