Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook have shared a HUGE update in the Djed Spence deal.
According to the collaboration post between the two, Liverpool are focused on other targets and the club have not entered the race to sign the versatile full-back officially.
Spence is looking at his options away from Spurs and his representatives have been offering him to a range of Premier League clubs, which has included the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
The rumours of Liverpool pursuing Spence were working in tandem with rumours that Spurs were looking to take Cody Gakpo in the opposite direction.
According to the news, Liverpool are interested in other deals at the moment so it doesn’t mean the deal for Spence is dead, but could offer insight that the deals for other rumoured signings like Barcola and Mbaye are taking priority.

When rumours of a move for Djed Spence started to surface they made an awful lot of sense. Liverpool need versatile defensive cover. They need as many new signings as possible to be homegrown as possible as there are limited space left in the squad for registration and with Spurs coming in for Gakpo after some high spending earlier in the window, it would make sense for them to want to get some money in.
