Liverpool fans urge Reds to sign Raphinha after more brilliance for Leeds

A number of Liverpool supporters have been urging the Reds to sign Raphinha this summer, following another excellent performance.

The Brazilian starred for Leeds United in their 3-0 win at home to Southampton on Tuesday night, scoring a brilliant free-kick and impressing in his all-round game.

Raphinha has arguably been one of the best attacking players in the Premier League this season, chipping in with five goals and assists apiece for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a summer move to Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp looks at strengthening his squad further.

With Diogo Jota already a great option from a left-sided or central role, it could be that Raphinha is viewed as an ideal backup to Mohamed Salah on the right, and perhaps a long-term successor to the Egyptian superstar.

These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to call for the Reds to snap up the forward at the end of the season.
