Liverpool have officially confirmed the signing of Bradley Barcola from PSG on a long-term contract.
The Reds finally got the deal over the line after drawn-out negotiations with the reigning European champions, for whom the Frenchman was an indispensable asset since signing for Lyon.
Liverpool wrote on their official website: “Liverpool have completed the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, subject to international clearance.
“The French forward put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Reds at the AXA Training Centre after passing a medical and finalising the transfer.”
The Frenchman will wear the No.29 shirt and also sat down with the club’s media personnel for his first interview at the club.
And he has won over the Anfield faithful with a brilliant admission about Liverpool’s interest in him.
Bradley Barcola makes honest Liverpool admission
At the end of the season, Barcola told PSG that he would not renew his deal with the club.
Liverpool then declared their interest and have been locked in talks to sign him since France’s elimination from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
And now, the 24-year-old has revealed that he didn’t need too much convincing to join the Reds.
“I had the chance to play twice in this stadium and I saw the atmosphere and how the fans were behind the Liverpool players.
“When I knew about Liverpool’s interest in me, I didn’t ask questions and I knew it was a very big club for me.”
Welcome to Liverpool, Bradley!
