Liverpool interested in signing Brazilian wonderkid Kayky

Liverpool are interested in making a move for Brazilian wonderkid Kayky, according to journalist Paulo Brito on NETFLU‘s YouTube channel.

The 17-year-old Fluminense star has reportedly been scouted by the Reds for a while and they are now weighing up the idea of making an offer.

Shakhtar Donetsk are believed to have made a bid for Kayky and Liverpool appear willing to do the same.

He is described as the best performing Under-17 player in Brazil currently, with the attacker appearing twice for his country’s Under-16 side.

There is always an element of excitement when any Brazilian player is linked with Liverpool, given the flamboyance they will play with.

In Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino, the Reds already possess three outstanding stars from the country, and they could act as great role models for Kayky, if he clinched a move to Anfield.

It remains to be seen if a transfer will materialise, but it is encouraging to see Liverpool be in the mix for such a prodigious young talent.

It is always important to plan for the future and it may be that the Reds see Kayky as a potential long-term starter in attack.

matchday.
