Liverpool interested in signing Ousmane Dembele

Liverpool are interested in signing Ousmane Dembele, according to reports.

The French international only joined Barcelona in January for an initial €100m, with €40m in add-ons included in the deal, but it looks like he could be on the move just 12 months later.

French outlet RAC1 claim that Dembele’s recent lack of game time, added to the fact that some members of the Barcelona squad aren’t exactly thrilled with his attitude, means that he could be on the move when the winter transfer window opens.

Liverpool were interested in signing the forward when he initially left Borussia Dortmund, but they found themselves outbid as Barcelona came in for him.

Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of the forward and is said to be keen on bringing him to Anfield.

Quite what he would cost remains to be seen but Barca will likely want something close to the initial €100m they paid for the World Cup winner.
