The summer transfer window is fast approaching and the rumour mill has been turning for months.
Liverpool as always are at the heart of it, with the club set for a busy summer ahead of next season.
Recent news revealed that the club are set to trigger the £40million release clause of RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konaté.
However, it is likely that the club will be hoping to bring in more than just one new player.
According to The Independent’s Melissa Reddy, Liverpool have a strong interest in Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho…
As Reddy says, Liverpool would have to sell to finance a deal for Sancho this summer.
The club has been interested in Sancho for some time and are prepared to battle it out for his signature.
It would be a shame, however, to see one of the Liverpool faithful have to leave to provide the finances.
One forward from the club that has been linked with a move away in the summer is Brazilian Roberto Firmino.
The striker is of interest to La Liga side Atletico Madrid this summer, with the Reds reportedly wanting €55million.
There is no doubt that Sancho would be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool front line.
The loss of Firmino would be a huge disappointment though, with the 29-year-old a big fan favourite.
Whatever happens in the summer, we will definitely see some activity in the Liverpool camp.
