Liverpool confirmed lineup vs Como: Jacquet and Araujo make Anfield debuts

Liverpool have released their team to play against Como in the final preseason friendly before they start their Premier League season at St James’ Park next week.

The team features new signings Jeremy Jacquet and Ronald Araujo, who could make their Liverpool debuts. Jacquet starts the game, while Araujo will make his debut off the bench having joined the club less than a week ago.

Liverpool also played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Como earlier and drew 0-0, with Victor Munoz impressing. The World Cup winner may feature from the bench in this game also.

Rio Ngumoha will start on the right wing, while Jeremie Frimpong will start behind him at right back.

Cody Gakpo has been the centre of a lot of recent transfer speculation but retains his starting spot to play Como.
