Liverpool reportedly offered the chance to sign Ousmane Dembele

Liverpool have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele this summer, according to TeamTalk, cited by Anfield Edition.

The report claims that Barcelona are looking to bring in funds this summer and have offered the French international to the Reds for £90m.

Anfield is thought to be Dembele’s preferred destination if he leaves the Nou Camp ahead of the new season, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp keen on adding to his attacking ranks.

Klopp is thought to be a big admirer of Dembele, with the 22-year-old known best for his outstanding campaign in Germany at Borussia Dortmund before joining Barcelona in 2017.

The World Cup winner netted 14 times under Ernesto Valverde last season and created nine assists for the Spanish giants, an impressive return during an injury-troubled campaign.

Dembele could well prove to be a smart addition to the Reds side next season, however, Liverpool will have to break their transfer record to do so.
