Liverpool seriously interested in signing €60m breakout star

Liverpool have always remained attentive to market opportunities and young players in the transfer market.

And now that Julian Ward has returned to the club as Sporting Director, the Reds are expected to carry on in the same vein as he knows the system quite well.

Four new players joined the club during the summer transfer window and a handful of others could follow suit in 2027.

And now, if reports from Germany are to be believed, Liverpool are interested in signing Fulham’s Josh King.

King has been one of the breakout stars of the current Premier League season and has delivered a string of outstanding displays for Alvaro Arbeloa’s side.

In fact, the youngster was one of the best players on the pitch when Liverpool faced Fulham earlier this season, which goes to show just how good he is despite his age.

4-2-2.ch report that Liverpool, along with Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal, are interested in signing him at some point in the future.

King is valued at around €60m at least and is tied down at the club until 2029, so Fulham hold all the cards currently.

That said, if he continues developing in the same way, one of the big clubs will be knocking on their door in the near future as he looks like a superstar in the making.
