Erling Haaland will end up signing for Liverpool, according to RB Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund.
The Norwegian is one of the world’s best strikers at the moment, shining for Borussia Dortmund since his move from Salzburg in January. He has already scored 24 goals in 27 games for the Bundesliga giants, highlighting his ruthlessness in front of goal.
Such is the 20-year-old’s vast potential, there is sure to be a huge fight for his signature the next time he becomes available.
Speaking to Sky Sports in Germany, via Liverpool Echo, Freund tipped Haaland to become a Liverpool player:
He will land there.
He can play for any club in the world. With his mentality, his will and self confidence, he will be able to make a mark on European football in the next ten years.

In many ways, I think Haaland could be the most exciting possible long-term replacement for Roberto Firmino.
Still only 20, the Dortmund superstar has already achieved so much, becoming the fastest player in history to reach 10 Champions League goals.
He has everything required to thrive under Jurgen Klopp, whether it be pace, technical quality, a strong work ethic or world-class ruthlessness in the final third.
A time will sadly come when Klopp has to look at the bigger picture and find long-term alternatives to Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Firmino, hopefully building his next great team at Anfield.
Haaland is the definition of hot property, and if the Reds did ever get a deal over the line, it would feel like a significant piece of business.
