Liverpool are reportedly willing to sell Xherdan Shaqiri this summer if they can make a £10m profit on the Swiss ace according to Football Insider.
The Reds signed Shaqiri from a relegated Stoke City side in 2018 when they triggered a release clause in his contract meaning he could leave for £13m.
Since then the 29-year-old has enjoyed a mixed career at Anfield, coming up with big moments for Jurgen Klopp’s side but unfortunately spending too much time on the physio table due to repeated injuries.
The report claims Shaqiri, who was billed as ‘superb’ by Klopp’s assistant Pep Lijndrs, has decided to leave the club in the summer and as such Liverpool have set their asking price at £23m.
In three years on Merseyside to date, Shaqiri has played 59 times scoring eight goals and making nine assists, including a decisive cross for Gini Wijnaldum’s tie levelling header against Barcelona in the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

In all honesty, this is a move that has been in the making for numerous transfer windows and could easily have happened before now.
Shaqiri’s injury issues have blighted his time with the club and for all his obvious qualities when fit, Klopp simply can’t rely on his availability for large proportions of a gruelling campaign.
Ironically this move could come on the back of a season whereby the Switzerland international features more prominently than previous seasons in a Liverpool shirt – handy when it comes to demanding a premium fee.
