Jurgen Klopp has this morning confirmed that Naby Keita will miss the Champions League final against Tottenham.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, as reported by Sky Sports News, Klopp confirmed that the midfielder will not be involved.
After being forced off against Barcelona in the first leg of the semi-final, he had been a doubt for the game but the Reds were holding out hope that he would make it in time for the clash in Madrid.

The midfielder travelled with the rest of the squad to Marbella for some warm-weather training in a last-ditch attempt to get back up to speed for the final, but he has been unsuccessful.
While the news comes as a huge blow to Klopp and Liverpool, it does present an opportunity to the midfielders that were so important against Barcelona at Anfield during that memorable second-leg victory.
