Jeremy Jacquet has taken to life at Liverpool like a duck to water.
The Frenchman agreed a deal to join the club from Rennes in January but officially completed his move during the summer transfer window.
Jacquet has taken next to no time to adapt to life in England, starting every Premier League and UEFA Champions League game for Andoni Iraola.
And now, the French international has raved about Virgil van Dijk after forging a fantastic defensive partnership with him.

Jacquet was recently called up by Zinedine Zidane for the France national team and has already made a massive impression.
In fact, Zidane heaped praise on Jacquet last week for his recent displays, so he certainly looks like a star in the making.
The young Frenchman has emerged as the talk of the town and recently sat down with the local media, where he lavished praise on Van Dijk for his start to life at Anfield.
“Everything is going well at the moment,” said the Frenchman via Telefoot.
“Playing alongside Van Dijk is really special when you know what a defender he is. Very few defenders have reached his level.”
If Jacquet continues on the same trajectory, he is certainly the next big defensive talent in the making.
