A report by Simon Jones from the Daily Mail says Liverpool have shown interest in four Premier League strikers.
Edin Dzeko is the latest striker to be linked with the Reds along with Christian Benteke, Danny Ings and Stevan Jovetic.
According to Jones, Liverpool have already made an offer to Ings, while a move for Benteke could be difficult due to Aston Villa’s unwillingness to sell.
Dzeko – who would likely cost around £25m – has also been linked with a move to champions Chelsea, though City are unlikely to want to sell him to their biggest rival in terms of regaining the title next year.
If reports are to be believed, Liverpool are looking to completely revamp their list of strikers.
Divock Origi will join Daniel Sturridge in the Reds’ strikers department, while it’s looking more likely that Danny Ings will join them.
If Liverpool do ship out Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert then there’s room for one more striker and Dzeko is apparently one of the names on the shortlist to fill that void.
