Salah and Robertson to miss Palace clash

Liverpool have been handed a double injury blow with the news that Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson are to miss the game against Crystal Palace.

Sky Sports have confirmed that both players will sit out of this weekend’s clash as they continue to recover from respective ankle injuries.

Both players were considered to be doubts for the game on Saturday, but the bad news has now been confirmed.

Salah was forced to sit out during the international break and was seen wearing a protective boot while away with Egypt.

Robertson’s injury leaves Klopp with a decision to make in the left-back spot, while Salah’s absence could open up an opportunity for somebody like Xherdan Shaqiri to come in and impress.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be out to extend their lead at the top to 11 points, with Leicester travelling to Brighton, while Man City welcome Chelsea to the Etihad later on Saturday evening.
