Liverpool fans have been left to sweat after Mohamed Salah hobbled off the pitch after helping Egypt to a 4-1 win against Swaziland.
The Reds winger was instrumental in his side’s comprehensive victory but appears to have been dealt a blow, having departed the field in some discomfort after allegedly sustaining a hamstring injury.
Salah capped a fine display from Egpyt just three minutes from time as he swung a left-footed corner beyond the reach of Swaziland’s back-line and into the net.

However, he then appeared to express dissatisfaction with the back of his leg, as he gingerly made his way off the pitch just before the full-time whistle.
Although initial responses to the injury indicate that Salah was substituted based on precautionary measures, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be desperately hoping that his star man will not face a spell on the sidelines.
Salah has not yet hit top form at Liverpool this season but has still chipped in with three Premier League goals for the club.
