Liverpool take on Brighton at Anfield on Sunday in what promises to be an intriguing game of Premier League football.
The Seagulls are flying under Fabian Hurzeler and have already secured a handful of sizable scalps this season.
The Reds, on the other hand, will look to make it four successive wins across all competitions but have their work cut out for them.
Andoni Iraola will speak to the media later today and provide a detailed update on injuries.
In the meantime, though, Sky Sports have delivered updates on four players: Bradley Barcola, Victor Munoz, Dom Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong.
Liverpool injury blow now confirmed
While Barcola was reportedly training away from the team, the latter three weren’t spotted with the rest of their teammates.
Szoboszlai has only played 35 minutes of football since the international break and is believed to be a few games away from being fully fit.
As for Frimpong, he is expected to miss around four weeks of action after pulling up with a hamstring injury vs Brentford.
Munoz is nursing a knock to his knee and wasn’t part of the matchday squad for the UEFA Champions League game against Villarreal.
There isn’t a time frame on his return as things stand, but Iraola is expected to address the situation later in the day.
Liverpool have a few injury concerns, so the game against Brighton is set to be a difficult one for them at Anfield on Sunday.
