It was a summer of change for Liverpool after Andoni Iraola replaced Arne Slot at the helm.
Aside from their managerial change, a handful of key players like Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate and Mohamed Salah left the club, while four new players walked through the door at Anfield.
In the loan department, the Reds sanctioned temporary moves away for a few players who weren’t a part of Iraola’s plans, with Harvey Elliott being one of them.
And after a bit of a difficult start, the Englishman appears as if he is slowly endearing himself to the Valencia faithful.

Elliott seems to have made a good impression on Javier Aguirre, who recently sung his praises.
“I see him more refined,” said Aguirre via Super Deporte.
“He is working with a private nutritionist. I’m delighted with his attitude. He has a lot of quality and he’s a Valencia player. You have to get the best possible out of it.”
During pre-season, Elliott looked a little out of shape and was struggling to make an impression after a disastrous loan spell at Aston Villa.
Another terrible loan move could have really taken a toll on his career, but it appears as if he is starting to recapture his best form. Long may it continue!
