Spurs clash gives Liverpool the chance to bounce back strongly

Liverpool have the perfect opportunity to get back on track in their title charge this weekend when they face off against Tottenham in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp and his squad will be disappointed with 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford, with the Reds far from their deadly best.

Tottenham, in their current state make for the best opposition to face and a win against Mauricio Pochettino’s side would be a huge statement of intent. Even after their disappointing draw against a United, Liverpool will head into the game as the favourites in the eyes of most punters looking to do some football betting online

Pochettino’s side have struggled this season, with many doubt the Argentinian’s future at the club. They struggled to a 1-1 home draw against Watford last time out, with VAR playing a huge role in the result. They may need similar luck if they catch Liverpool at their best.

Sunday’s draw was Liverpool’s first real wobble in their bid to win the Premier League title, but Klopp will surely take pride from the way that his players rallied late into the game to get that all-important equaliser.

If they can harness that against Tottenham, they will give themselves a great platform to build on at the top of the Premier League.
